| NEWS 12/21/08 We're ending the year with maybe one of the best shows we've had this year. Simply because we just had fun doing it. The last 2008 show was at Johnny's Bar & Grill in Lompoc, Ca with the Scurvy Bastards from Paso Robles. Yeah there could have been more Lompton locals there, but oh well. We did a few of the locals that were nice and tossed, and contributed some mosh pit action...lol Both bands played long sets, rocked out, and had a great time. We even got paid..lol So we hope 2009 will be filled with new shows, new bands and faces, and a good record deal won't hurt either..lol See you all in 2009 Cheers n Beers from HONOR BOUND HEROES 12/5/08 It's been a cool year. Times flys, but in that time, we got to play a lot of shows, make new friends, and release our first album. We have 2 more shows left for 2008, then the New Year is starting like a shotgun Balst. Shows are already booked, and more are coming. We will be adding on a 2nd Bassist. A Back Up Bassist to fill in shows that James won't be able to play, due to his heavy work schedule. So don't be supised when you see a new face on stage with us from time to time. So with that said, we hope to see you all at the shows and supporting local Music where ever you may be. Happy Holidays with CHEERS & BEERS!!!!! SEE YOU IN 2009. 10/26/08 Here's our CD Review from our weekly local paper "New Times". Review by Glen Starkey. 9/25/08 We got to be interviewed on our local radio station New Rock 107.3. Tristan was really cool to hang with and he even played our song "Crash Course" off our new album "No Regrets". 9/1/08 So, After getting some Radio Props from Tristan at New Rock 107.3, we had a great turn out at the Frog & Peach show. A lot of new faces got exposed to our Punk n Roll, and gave us the thumbs up. There was a very cool older couple that busted out dancing during our set, they said the Music was great to dance to. I think sometime this month we'll be heading into the New Rock studios to meet with Tristan to do a radio interview and maybe play a song or 2 acoustic style, and promote our Big Upcoming Battle of the Bands show at Hoover's Live in Atascadero, Ca. See the flyer we mad and the info of who we're going to head2head with. We have a show coming up this weekend at the Sportsman's Pub in Paso Robles. An early afternoon show with us and locals "BludLust". They do a halarious version of "Safety Dance" by Men without Hats. 2 bands and cheap bear makes for a good time. No Cover, but pleas support the bands with a little donation for gas. We'll have our CD's on sale for $10 or you can pick it up right across the street at Aardvark Music. See Ya There. 8/23/08 The album is now being sold at 3 local record stores, check our lincks page for the listings. Also it's just a few more days till we are being online with our web distros "InterPunk.com" & "CDBaby.com". More locations in the works, but so far, things are going well and good feedback from those who have picked up the record. 8/2/08 The album is off to the press. We're looking at about 2 weeks to get them back, and we're in business. We'll be posting all the locations to purchase the record. 7/27/08 We had a Blast playing at Ms. Holly's Backyard Weenie Roast. This was our first outdoor show, and it was pretty damn cool. Well, it was Hot as Balls at first, but it cooled down a bit before we played. Some of the guys from the band Bludlust came down along w/ some of their ladies and their manager Kristina V (our New Home Girl). She's hooking up a show at Aardvark Music in Paso Robles Aug.3rd, and we're on like Donkey Kong to play it. Thanks to Ms. Holly for having us play at her place, and to everyone who cam out to see us play. CHEERS N BEERS |
